Much like before, I praise ~AStandardDeviation for her insight and for her sheer artistic genius. THIS work, in particular, was a powerful and resonating picture in my eyes...

While the smile of the second model would seem vague or even doped in other respects, what I loved most of this work was the way the screaming victim adds a certain coherence to this work - its the most natural representation of fear that we as viewers can fathom, if not imagine... and imagining sorrow or fear the way it is portrayed here, would honestly require a tremendous amount of diligence.

Hauntingly Beautiful...

Interestingly, this wasn't posed. I'm just an excellent big sister, as evident in my sister's expression.

Oh, wow. She does manage the evil look back there is the shadows. I think I would scream for terror, too.

Editing this was fun, as the original was evenly lit with no suggestion of Rose being the shadowy figure in the background. Shooting this "for real" would entail a LOT more lighting setup.

A fine job of editing in that case.
